The LED Bulbs Making project is an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable energy solutions while creating employment opportunities in rural areas. By training local community members in the assembly and production of LED bulbs, we are not only fostering skill development but also contributing to environmental conservation through energy-efficient lighting solutions.
Since its inception, the LED Bulbs Making project has trained over 50 individuals who are now skilled in LED bulb assembly and repair. The project has led to the establishment of 5 micro-enterprises that collectively produce approximately 1,000 LED bulbs per month. These energy-efficient bulbs are sold at affordable prices to local communities, resulting in reduced electricity consumption and lower utility bills for households.
We plan to expand the project by introducing advanced training modules for manufacturing other LED products such as tube lights and street lights. Additionally, we aim to establish partnerships with government schemes to supply LED products for public infrastructure, creating a sustainable market for our trained entrepreneurs.
