About the Project

The Skill and Digital Training project aims to bridge the digital divide and enhance employability in rural communities through comprehensive skill development programs. By providing training in digital literacy and vocational skills, we empower individuals to access better economic opportunities and participate in the digital economy.

Project Objectives

  • Establish digital literacy centers in rural areas
  • Provide basic computer education and internet skills training
  • Offer vocational training programs aligned with market demands
  • Facilitate access to online government services and digital financial services
  • Connect trained individuals with employment and entrepreneurship opportunities

Training Programs

Our training programs include:

  • Basic Computer Skills (3-month course)
  • Advanced Computer Applications (6-month course)
  • Digital Marketing (3-month course)
  • Mobile Phone Repair (2-month course)
  • E-commerce and Online Business (3-month course)

Impact

Since its inception, the Skill and Digital Training project has trained over 1,000 individuals in various digital and vocational skills. 70% of our trainees have secured employment or started their own businesses, with an average increase in monthly income of ₹8,000. The project has also facilitated access to digital government services for over 5,000 community members.

Future Plans

We plan to expand our training programs to include emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, and digital content creation. We also aim to establish partnerships with technology companies and educational institutions to enhance the quality and relevance of our training programs and create direct employment pathways for our trainees.
